This one-of-a-kind evening was brought to life by visionary Danielle Butler of EvyDani Books and Media, who invited guests to explore the intersection of creativity, community, and craftsmanship. With every detail carefully curated, attendees were immersed in an experience they won’t soon forget.
A Journey of Gemstones with Danielle Dawkins-Osborne
The event featured Danielle Dawkins-Osborne, a GIA-certified jeweler and CEO of Alex Lexington Diamonds. As a third-generation jeweler, Danielle shared her expertise on rare colored gemstones, taking guests on a journey through the beauty and significance of each stone.
She introduced the evening with the elegance of pink diamonds, describing their rarity and origins in Australia’s Argyle Mine.
“Pink diamonds symbolize love and luxury, with hues that range from soft blush to deep fuchsia. Each stone tells its own unique story,” Danielle explained.
Next came the vibrant yellow diamonds, celebrated for their rich hues caused by nitrogen during their formation.
“Yellow diamonds are perfect for those who want to step outside the traditional diamond look. They radiate warmth and individuality, making them a stunning choice for any jewelry piece,” she added.
Guests were captivated not only by the gems but also by Danielle’s insights into how jewelry can serve as a personal expression, a celebration of milestones, or simply a way to indulge in life’s finer things.

Aaron Cooper of Tricking Off Ain’t Easy elevated the evening by expertly pairing rare wines with each gemstone. His selections included:
• A La Fête du Rosé, a Black-owned winery from St. Tropez, paired with pink diamonds for its romantic and delicate notes.
• A 100% Chardonnay Blanc de Blanc Champagne from Étiènne Calsac, chosen to complement the vibrant hue of yellow diamonds with its crisp, citrusy profile.
“Wine and gemstones are alike in their complexity. Both require the perfect environment and chemistry to achieve their brilliance,” Aaron explained. His storytelling and passion for wine provided guests with an immersive, multisensory experience.

The event was hosted at The Vine Club ATL, an exclusive venue that perfectly matched the sophistication of the evening. With soft lighting, luxurious décor, and gemstone displays that dazzled under the glow, the atmosphere was both intimate and elegant.
